Geosoft http://geosoft.com and Oasis Montaj environment  de facto is standard in applied geophysics for database administration, data processing, analyzing, interpretation and clearly visualization and presentation of large volumes of data from multiple data sources. Geosoft has many instruments for this. But there is something that you want to do and Oasis montaj doesn’t have a tool that can carry out the task.

Program modules in Oasis Montaj are called GXs. Actually these are executable files for Geosoft. There is special GX Developer Toolkit which provides basic resources for creating custom GXs to add functionality to Oasis montaj. The Toolkit includes code compiler, resource compiler, manual and the Geosoft External API. Using special GXC language a programmer able to create original executable modules which work with data in the environment. Eventually the developed modules can bring enormous time savings and cost and operational efficiencies.

Here are descriptions of some commercial GX modules and noncommercial GXs unsupplied by Geosoft and which can be used directly or adopted for your data.
