As you have been able to notice we have been pushing more and more power supply units in our reviews over the past few months, and for a good reason. The power consumption that a PC can create these days is a little unheard of. Increased transistor counts, higher clock frequencies and hey let’s not forget the “Dual” trend. Enermax has been going very strong with their power supply and fans. For a while now they also offer PC cases, and more recently they released what seems to be the biggest chassis I’ve ever laid my hands on.

This chassis series has HPTX support for the bigger than biggest motherboards and some pretty cool features as well. Enermax Platimax W power supply review Lberty always is able surprise us, they now have released the Platimax power supplies, that means a platinum certification and yeah.

ENERMAX – Product

Very few products get this certification. Today we’ll grab a couple of older older supplies and see if what they claim is true, can we really save on energy. We then monitor power consumption in idle, CPU productivity stress mode and then lock into a gaming session.
