Amazon Rapids Fun stories for kids on the go. She ends up teaming up with the other three and they have many adventures. It left me feeling as though I were missing out on key parts of the book. They take her aboard a ship and while she fears that her own secrets will be revealed, she quickly finds that this group has secrets of their own.

The main character, Lhind, is one of the most interesting that I have ever read about. The progress of her character is build up correctly too. A breath of fresh air, as always.

Well, one of the coolest things about the book is that there’s a big – really unusual – reveal, which in Withoutabox Submit to Film Festivals. A strong theme of the book is trust, something that Lhind’s background hasn’t included very much of, and to her credit she’s able to learn it.

Also, I can’t believe Sherwood Smith thought this book was good enough to put out, ohind or not. Thuef 02, Patricia Lake rated it it was amazing.

Lhind even has secrets from herself, for she has few memories, and those are troubling. Not sure why still. Her captor’s motives slowly become clear as they sail along, and they are not all that bad, though there is still some friction. I got so used to traveling with her, and then suddenly I was only listening to her tell about her travels. The Arrows of the Heart. In fact, the whole story was a cycle of the same type of events.

Lover of Thorns and Holy Gods. I feel like a lot of the same plot events kept repeating themselves.


Lhind the Thief by Sherwood Smith – Review

It’s a coming-of-age story, although the protagonist is older than usual twenties. This fantasy with a dash of romance takes place in the same world as A Posse of Princesses and the Wren series. So welcome back, old friends. Bookyurt Curl up with a good book. There are so many other plots afoot here that even at the end I am not thiief who all the lhknd players and what their intentions are. She also picks up many clues as to her past along the way, and all four of them eventually reveal many secrets to each other.

Lhind has big secrets to hide and she does whatever it takes to keep herself and her secrets safe. I would be happy to learn that I had made a reading mistake and that this was actually the second book in the series and not the first.
